First of all I'd like to thank for all the work and effort so far.

Now to a small proposal:
How about making something like VNDS, only for the PSP? All that's currently floating around is an ages old english build of ONScripter and a more recent japanese one, but that's just for NScript-games (although somebody apparently managed to make a very dirty conversion of F/SN to ONS, leaving out all the fight scenes..).

There's not much I can offer in return except for the promise that I'll up the CSO of that PSP Hatsune Miku game once it comes out (and my japanese preorder arrives).

I dont have a PSP so it being made by me is highly unlikely.

I dont see my getting a PSP anytime soon since I really dont have the money to get one. you are free to send me one though if you want it that bad.

Actually there's a english build of onscripter from Fall 08 floating around on the internet. Pretty sure I saw it linked in Mirror-Moon's Tsukihime on PSP thread.

Not sure if it works though, since I still haven't bothered trying it.

This actually sounds like an option to waste ~200€ on.
I'll contact you next month. Want to homebrew-enable it yourself or spare the work and receive a fully fledged one? If it's the first, then I'll include a Pandora Battery and a 1.50 to downgrade to.

>>4
Why would you give him 1.5?
Not only do people not use it anymore, that completely leaves slim owners in the dark unless he figures out how to install CFW.
Hell, you have out go out of your way to install 1.5 with pandora.

I was not expecting you to actually take that comment seriously.

If you`re serious, a pre-homebrewed one would be best.

>>5
To put custom firmware onto it, you still need 1.50 and since it's not included anywhere I'd throw it on the stick?!

Also slim owners with a 2004 are out of the target group anyway, phat is the way to roll.

That's funny, considering I CFW'd two PSPs the other month without going to 1.50.

k, didn't know about that.

Anyways, back to the main topic: Is there interest in something like a VNPSP or am I the only one craving for it?

11 Name: Anonymous : 2009-04-21 03:06 ID:6nuU4KZl [Del]

Well, it's of some interest to me, since I hate the process for the PSP ONScripter. You needed to extract all the images from arc.nsa, resize them one by one, then insert it back in. It's a very long process.

I don't think this will be made fairly easier, the only thing I can imagine might be a F/SN-Converter for PSP that takes out the whole DIY flair

The question is: How serious are you?

14 Name: Anonymous : 2009-04-21 10:49 ID:jFTegjol [Del]

>>13
well, assuming a free psp ended up in my mail one day, Id feel pretty bad if I didnt port it.

Hahaha, okay.

You can contact me at stopthefresse@gmail.com
Name and everything are fake though, I'll probably be able to donate a testing subject next month.

This sounds too good to be true.

it sounds that way from my point of view as well.

To already give you some mental preparation (also don't mind the various IDs I have, dynamic IP at home and a few posts from work..) you should dig around in http://alek.dark-alex.org/pspwiki/index.php/Main_Page which is basically the main wiki for PSP Homebrew.

It probably is. Make sure to use a P.O. box just in case he starts mailing you fingernail clippings.

>>18
that is much to much work to avoid something that doesnt really matter. I`d know to stop opening things after the first.

Now I'm intrigued to write "fingernail clippings" on the package when I'll send it.. damn you.

OMG I was thinking of posting the idea of VNPSP as well today ! , 2 months have past..( i think ) since the last post here. ..
so i guess he got Footnail clippings , dammit...ANYONE make a good port of FSN PSP , or a better tutorial for onscripter , i just want FSN to be on p s p .......

>i just want FSN to be on p s p

Sorry to question you, but why?
The NDS-version has text that won't cover parts of the images and is very comfortable to read because of the black background. A single-screen device wouldn't have these features.

>>22
I didn`t even get those.

>>23
After the whole "hey free psp" thing wore out in my mind and I actually tried thinking about how to go about doing everything, I realized that it would have to be text on image. And on something with that small a resolution, it sounds really hard on the eyes.

It wouldn't be so bad - take a look at all these ONScripter screenshots from the japanese version of the build.

It looks awesome!

I'd kill for the VNDSx PSP port/version... :(

Maybe set-up a donation thingy?

I'd be more than glad to donate for a VNDS PSP version.

(420x272 isn't as small as people make it to be).

28 Name: Anonymous : 2010-03-07 21:02 ID:eP1rqcYo [Del]

Anyone tried running it on the DS emulator on PSP?

29 Name: Anonymous : 2010-03-07 22:24 ID:DVMDePgL [Del]

Would the psp one have faster and more stable image loading and no pause before speech and etc..?

As far as we discussed, VNDS doesn't even work on PC via emulation.

32 Name: Narin : 2010-07-17 08:26 ID:VuDIVWrC [Del]

Are you guys still serious about making a port of VNDS to the PSP if you were to receive one? If so, I may possibly be able to help out in that regard.

actually I eventually ended up with a psp (it is bad at being a psp since it does not seem to charge the battery(its the psp's fault not the battery)).

but due to MAN FUCK THIS VNDS SHIT dont ever expect something to come out.

vnds has taught me to never make a program that I dont really use and is for other people.
