What was the point in adding .novel compatibility? In my opinion it seemed to sacrifice compatibility, aand speed just for a fancy file name. I switched back to 1.4.7 and its amazing how much the gameplay and loading times are in comparison to 1.5.0. In 1.5.0 it took much longer to load the visual novels to start with, and with some novels i found 1.5.0 to occasionaly freeze. Since switching back i have had no problems at all.
So may i ask what we gained from .novel? And what has been improved by versions following 1.4.7 that affected the playability of visual novels. The download option is useless anyway as the time needed to download a visual novel is immense, in comparison to just downloading it off the computer.
I was testing stuff.
then I completely stopped caring about vnds, so I never bothered to fix it.

that said, if someone wants to merge the important fixes from the 1.5.x series, they are free to:
and send me an updated novel table to paste into the page.

If you just point out what you did to fix those it'll be a lot easier to make a 1.4.7x with those fixes...
I'd do it in my free time gladly
Also, someone make an updated list of the playable games (with the links to download it plus fixes if needed)
I won't do it because basically I don't care, all I ever played/downloaded was saya and fsn...
does anyone know why true remembrance has a guru error
at some point where the character closes their eyes
the first time I saw the error I was like:
...thats a weird ending to a novel
but now I know it was a bug... a bug in 1.4.7 and 1.5.3 AND 1.5.1... what fixes it?
oh and ill be on dso irc- name davido(or burningphantom)
