Fate/Stay Night uncensored (25)

I couldn't stand to look at the pixel censorship, so I found the normal uncensored images and resized and renamed them so that all you have to do it drag them into the background folder and replace the old pictures.

I've only gotten to one scene in the game yet, but it worked fine. I'd like to see if other people can get it to work as well.

Not my cup of tea (skipped them on PC, tbh), But on behalf of those who do want this I say thanks, and I'll link it as a 'patch' on the vnds wiki.

EDIT: re-uploaded your pack with a readme that credits you, and has instructions, just to make it idiot-proof enough for the wiki. nothing else changed, so hope you don't mind.

Cool, hope it makes some people happy. Also, lol at crediting it to Anonymous. Guess I've joined the mob.

haha, yes, you've joined been indoctrinated into the very exlusive society known as "random contributors to things on the VNDS wiki". Welcome to the Club.

Who plays FSN for the sex anyway?
I can understand when English-speaking people don't want to miss out on pictures and scenes the Japanese had, even if they are bad, but asking for your version to be more uncensored than the original release is a bit too much for me to comprehend.

What's next? Uncensored Tsukihime CGs??
Of course I can't stand to look at pixel censorship either, but are badly drawn dicks really that much better to the eyes?

7 Name: Hogan : 2009-10-28 23:41 ID:1Fl8Dlwo [Del]

haha, I'll admit this now, when I first started Tsukihime, I didn't actualy know it was a H game. got a bit of a surprise 30 mins in ^^

and don't underestimate the power/desperation of the otaku. Its like a bizzaro rule 34: if its got porn/ecchi in it, someone's used it to 'relieve' themselves. I'm looking at you, Strike Witches...

Since something like this git released, I might as well release my little addon that allows you to view any H-scene of your choice in Fate/Stay Night.

>7

Woah, 30 minutes in? How fast were you playing?

Surprisingly, I'd say most of the audience that's under 18 that play these games (Sorry if you're not one of those people, I don't know anyone's ages).
I'll admit I played Tsukihime and Fate/Stay Night looking forward to it, but instead I found an epic storyline for each game that didn't even require H-scenes (The dragon biting Shirou in the anime was utterly stupid in my opinion, I'd rather have implied H).
And I'll admit I get more of an off from just reading regardless of the actual visual.

Looking back now, those H-scenes just disappoint me.

haha, yep, I agree that the majority of people that play them are under 18. And yea, It's like one minute it's a deep and engaging story, then bam, looks like something else is engaging in going deep...
(that pun kinda worked, didn't it?)

>It's like one minute it's a deep and engaging story, then bam

Lol, this reads awesome after coming out of an lecture in which the prof said that the absence of sex scenes in the Iliad and Odyssee are indications that Homer was an eunuch.

Is sex now an required ingredient for an epic story or is it just going to disrupt the storytelling?

>>11
Who doesn't want a story with magical semen? /sarcasm

Not required, but I think that was Tsukihime and Fate/Stay Night's selling point. I bet no one would have discovered the epic story had it no selling point.

13 Name: Chass : 2009-11-04 15:38 ID:yt3yHcgY [Del]

no, i can say for certain that sex wasn't the selling point in Type-Moon's materials...I'm sure that when people go to play tsukihime or FSN, they aren't looking forward to the H scenes, otherwise, they would play something else...seriously...

I don't want to start some random argument, but why did Type-Moon bother putting them in, in the first place?

Oh, and is there really going to be a Tsukihime anime remake? Or am I just seeing rumors.

15 Name: Anonymoose : 2009-11-04 17:23 ID:3Q7Rg0dB [Del]

meme There is no Tsukihime anime to remake. /meme

Thumbs up I actually got that.

Man J.C. sucked back then.

It is kinda sad that here we have some great authors and artists, yet their talents are being squandered on porn games...

Nasu is a great writer whether there's hentai in his stories or not. Also, that so little of the story is pornographic in nature - and that it still functions perfectly fine without the sex scenes there - should make the label of "porn game" kind of inappropriate.
>>14

There's going to be a remake of the original Visual Novel, yes. We may actually get sex scenes that don't reference vomiting!

Apparently we'll see what happens when TM doesn't restrict themselves to the eroge genre.

Though I do think squandered is too harsh a word, as this company started out making doujinsoft they kind of chose to do exactly what they were doing. I'd start yapping about my opinion on the term 'porn game' but I haven't been active here long enough to get away with rant posts I think. Which it would no doubt become.

20 Name: Rai : 2009-11-06 13:07 ID:uiZjgfQC [Del]

You could say the same for Kara No Kyoukai, if they made a visual novel version of that, which I doubt since the movies came out.
I'm trying to resist rant posts too...

haha, although this sound like I'm being troll-ish, I actually really want to here everyone's thoughts, no matter how rant-ish!
a heated discussion is always the best way to get someone's real thoughts on an issue.

And while IRL I also profusely defend visual novels as more then just 'porn games' (just look at narcissu, or any of the 100+ other novels that deal with more then just sex or eroge), my protection doesn't extend to games that actually have sex in them. I'd defend Clannad to the death (kinda, not Key's best), but I can only half heartedly defend FS/N (as much as I loved that game) because it started life as a game for people to 'enjoy themselves' to, wheather the 18+ was a stupid tacked-on part of it or not.

22 Name: Anonymoose : 2009-11-07 02:04 ID:1go8x9dx [Del]

Well for the most part I agree with that. Maybe though I'm a little more defensive of things like FSN because storyline is the most important thing to me. I'll look past quite a bit for the sake of a good story. Which isn't so much the mindset of the rest of my continent of residence. Which is probably why it's so hard to get someone to sit down with Planetarian for five minutes when I finished it in one sitting. >.<; Though it's not like I'm denying ever playing something because it's an ero/galge. I've played quite a few I will never recommend to anyone... or only to people I dislike.

I swear I've revised this about six times >.>

The sex scenes are few in FSN and Tsukihime, they consist of very few pictures and these are badly drawn in comparison to professional works. I don't think many played it for masturbation purposes when the overall selection of eroge offers tons of more specialized titles.

Personally I draw the line between games with H-content and said 'porn games' by asking myself whether the title in question could or could not be converted into an 'all-ages' anime TV series (since many of the most famous visual novels already got this kind of treatment in reality).

hm, while a term as arbitrary as 'porn game' is really up to each person, you cannot overlook the fact that H scenes were added, on purpose, and most likely to boost the game's sales/exposure.

A hypothetical question(that I guess cannot really be answered):
Do you think Tsukihime would have gained the sales/exposure that lead it to become an anime (and a remake on the way, so I've heard?), or to become one of the more widely-known VNs this side of the translating process, If it was originally not a H-game?
A deep story and character development are hard qualities to market, especially in an industry inundated with 100s of new Visual Novels at any one time. But there's always a market for porn...

Oh, and I also didn't use FS/N as the example on purpose: that's one I believe would have gained popularity, as it can/did market its 'action' side

That's what I'm trying to say.
The very first person who bought Tsukihime probably wasn't counting on an epic story.
I'm sure Type-Moon (Even before they became Type-Moon) would have gained more popularity in the beginning had Mahōtsukai no Yoru and Kara No Kyoukai started as visual novels with some sort of erotic notion. (Choosing those two specifically because they're on the same timeline as Tsukihime)

Still, what I don't get is why stick h-scenes anyways in Fate/Stay Night, even when they were popular with just Tsukihime. Seems like the "all-ages" version was stuck in as an afterthought.
