Help Zipping .novel files. (6)

Can anyone help me out in zipping .novel files?

I took a .novel, changed the file type to .zip, and unzipped.
I then took the same folder and used 7zip to compress as a zip in store only mode.
I changed the filetype back to .novel and loaded it on my flashcart, but it does not show up in vnds.

Any help?

try using winrar instead?

It'll deal with pretty well everything except a few things like .dgc but if you're not in the market for .jp designed mugen characters you'll probably never see or hear of that file type again. ;p

I'm zipping the folder that contains all the novel files, correct?

test.novel > test > (files)

Hooray for triple posting!

I got the whole thing to work in the end by just unzipping the whole thing and running it with the folder. Screw .novel.

Still, this is troubling...

Actually I think it was just test.novel > (files) but .novel files are sort of troublesome I suppose. I don't ever think I have gotten it to work completely correctly. Then again, using .novel files doesn't really help for much anyways.
